The ConvaTec ConvaMax Superabsorber is a super absorbent foam dressing, one that holds a high volume of fluid in its core. It is a nonadhesive, sterile rectangle measuring 4 X 8 Inch, without a border. Facility buyers and home caregivers can use the specifications below to confirm the size and type before ordering.
- High fluid absorption: the super absorbent polymer (SAP) core takes in wound fluid, up to 170g/100cm2
- High fluid retention: the SAP core holds the fluid within the dressing, away from the wound, bandaging and clothing
- Soft and conformable dressing that is gentle against the skin
- Protective blue backing blocks strike-through and keeps the dressing conformable
