The Aquacel Silicone Adhesive with Border dressing is a sterile foam dressing with a gentle silicone border, one that sticks to the skin around a wound. It is a square 4 x 4 inch dressing with a soft, absorbent foam pad and a waterproof film backing. The silicone adhesive is designed for simple application and removal.

• Waterproof backing acts as a bacteria barrier: it allows excess moisture to evaporate, blocks viral and bacterial penetration, and lets the wearer shower and bathe
