The Aquacel Nonadhesive without Border Foam Dressing from ConvaTec is a sterile, square foam dressing measuring 6 x 6 inches. It has a soft, absorbent foam pad and a waterproof film backing. It is made without a border and is nonadhesive.
- Waterproof backing is a bacteria barrier: it lets excess moisture evaporate and blocks viral and bacterial penetration
- Allows showering and bathing
- Soft, absorbent foam pad is made for comfort and absorbs excess fluid
- Locks in wound exudate, the fluid a wound produces
- Gentle silicone border is designed to adhere to the surrounding skin, not to the wound bed
