The Cutimed Siltec B from BSN Medical is a foam dressing with a border, a bordered dressing that sticks to the skin around the wound. It is made for managing exudate, the fluid a wound gives off. It comes in a square 6 x 6 inch size and is sterile.
- Developed to help with exudate management
- Silicone layer adheres gently to the surrounding skin and causes minimal discomfort when you change the dressing
- Newly formed tissue is kept under a moist environment
- Foam core with super-absorbers absorbs reliably in slightly to heavily exuding wounds
- Core has excellent retention capacity, even under compression
