The Cutimed Siltec B is a silicone foam dressing with an adhesive border, made by BSN Medical. It is a super absorbent dressing, and it is sterile and square, 3 x 3 inches. A silicone wound contact layer is designed for atraumatic dressing changes, meaning changes that do not damage the wound surface.
- Super absorbent silicone foam dressing with a gentle adherent border
- A layer of super-absorbent particles sits above the foam core for reliable fluid absorption and fluid retention, even under compression
- Smart pore structure absorbs exudate (wound fluid) vertically, allowing for less maceration
- Silicone wound contact layer protects surrounding skin and allows atraumatic dressing changes
- Film backing is water repellent and has a high MVTR (moisture vapor transmission rate)
