Description / Aesculap MD346 - AesculapĀ® Sterilization Process Indicator Card for Aesculap Generation - 250/Box
The Aesculap SterilContainer sterilization process indicator card, a Type 1 indicator, shows whether a load has been through a steam or EO gas process. It is intended for use in Aesculap Generation 2000 containers. Facility teams can check the color change against the values listed below.
- Indicator cards help make sure only properly sterilized items are used in patient care, supporting patient safety and care quality
- After sterilization, the external indicator should change from its original color to the recommended post-sterilization color
- Indicator turns brown in steam and orange in EtO
- Use in PreVac steam, PreVac IUSS, gravity and EtO modalities
- Intended for use in Aesculap Generation 2000 containers
- Indicator change: dark brown in steam, orange in EO gas
- Sterilization compatibility: steam and EO gas
- Temperature range for steam: 250° to 270°F (121° to 132°C)
- Processing times: 3, 4 and 30 minutes
