The Propper OK sterilization chemical indicator strip is a chemical indicator, a strip that changes color to show the result of a steam sterilization cycle. It is made for steam sterilization at 250° to 273°F (121° to 134°C). A pre-printed reference color helps you read the result quickly.
- Monitors the critical sterilization parameters of steam, time and temperature
- Responds to conditions in the sterilization cycle, including incomplete steam penetration, noncondensing gases or excessive air, inadequate temperature and insufficient exposure time
- Pre-printed standard reference color makes the result quick and clear to read
- When sterilization conditions meet requirements, the arrow and the K become at least as dark as the reference color O, forming the word OK
- Class 4 sterilization chemical indicator strip, Type 4, steam cycle dependent
- 250 strips per box
