The Sheridan HVT tracheostomy tube from Teleflex is a cuffed endotracheal tube, a tube with an inflatable cuff that seals around the airway. It is made for adult patients and can be used orally or nasally. It is designed for short and long-term ventilation and routine surgical procedures.
- High volume, large diameter cuff creates a positive seal against the tracheal wall and reduces the area of tracheal wall contact
- Low pressure cuff is designed to minimize capillary restriction
- Tapered cuff design makes insertion easier and is designed to minimize the risk of herniation
- Designed for use during short and long-term ventilation and routine surgical procedures
- For oral or nasal use
- Available with Murphy Eye only
