The Sun Med Ballard closed suction catheter is a tracheostomy-type catheter, a suction catheter that stays enclosed in a sleeve so it does not need to be removed from the circuit between uses. It is a 14 Fr. adult-size catheter in a 21.3 inch length. It arrives sterile, gamma sterilized, and is made of PVC.
