The 3M Attest Rapid Readout biological indicator vial is used to monitor steam sterilization. It uses Geobacillus stearothermophilus spores, which are extremely resistant, to challenge the sterilization cycle. Results come within 1 hour when you incubate it in the Attest auto-reader 390.
