The Smith & Nephew PICO 7 Two Dressing Kit is a set of sterile negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT) dressings, each measuring 10 X 20 cm. The dressings connect to a PICO NPWT pump, so the system works as one portable unit. They are approved for use on acute wounds, chronic wounds and closed surgical incisions.

• Part of the PICO system, which applies suction known as negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT) to draw excess fluid from a wound and protect the incision or wound
• The system pairs an NPWT pump with an absorbent dressing that has a gentle adhesive
• You place the dressing on the wound bed, then add extra adhesive strips over the outside edge to help hold it in place
• When you turn the pump on, air is pulled out of the dressing and excess fluid from the wound begins to enter the dressing
• The dressing is designed to help keep bacteria from entering the wound

• PICO 7 is a portable system, so patients can continue daily activities
