The Smith & Nephew EXU-DRY Anti-Shear dressing is a super absorbent wound dressing built as one piece from multiple layers. It is nonadherent to the wound and nonadhesive, so it needs no border or backing. You can use it as a wet or dry dressing on clean or contaminated wounds.
- One-piece wound dressing made up of multiple layers
- Anti-shear layer designed to reduce shearing
- Highly absorbent, with full absorbency
- Designed to reduce the risk of maceration and irritation to the wound and surrounding tissue
- Wicks drainage away from the wound into the entire dressing, which reduces how often the dressing needs changing
- Permeable and nonocclusive, so you can use it as a wet or dry dressing on clean or contaminated wounds
- Compatible with most topical agents, liquids and creams
- Nonadherent to the wound, for more comfortable wear during and between dressing changes
