The Smith & Nephew EXU-DRY Anti-Shear dressing is a super absorbent wound dressing, built as one piece from multiple layers. It is a white, rectangular, sterile dressing with no adhesive and no border. It is designed to be used as a wet or dry dressing on clean or contaminated wounds.
- One-piece wound dressing made up of multiple layers
- Anti-shear layer is designed to reduce shearing, which may help protect fragile granulation tissue
- Highly absorbent, and made to help reduce the risk of maceration and irritation to the wound and surrounding tissue
- Wicks drainage away from the wound into the entire dressing, which reduces how often the dressing needs changing
- Permeable and nonocclusive, so it can be used as a wet or dry dressing on clean or contaminated wounds
