The Skil-Care Heel Float is a small, open-toe boot that holds the heel off the surface over an air cavity. It has foam cushioned sides, a water-based gel insert and a cloth cover. It is made for facility and home use where heel positioning is needed.
- Off-loads the heel over an air cavity to take pressure off the heel
- Air circulation is provided around the heel
- Foam cushioned sides protect the lateral and medial malleoli, the bony points on each side of the ankle
- Water-based gel insert lowers pressure beneath the ankle
- Cloth cover reduces skin shear and wicks away moisture
- Anti-foot-drop construction controls dorsal flexion
- Launderable and reusable
- Closure system gives you a choice of ways to secure the boot
