The AquaRite Extra CMC is a gelling fiber wound dressing, a soft nonwoven pad that turns to gel as it takes in wound fluid. It measures 2 x 2 Inch and comes sterile. It is made by Sion Brands LLC.
- Soft, conformable nonwoven dressing made from sodium carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) and strengthening cellulose fibers
- Forms a gel that holds debris inside the fiber dressing
- Gel conforms closely to the surfaces of the wound bed and keeps its structure even when saturated, which makes removal easier
- High vertical absorption draws exudate (wound fluid) into the fiber dressing and helps keep the wound and surrounding skin from maceration
- Size: 2 x 2 Inch, square shape
