The DermaRite oil emulsion wound dressing is an impregnated dressing made of mesh gauze, a woven open-weave fabric. It is sterile and measures 3 x 16 inches. Use it as a primary layer on low to nonexudating wounds.
- Nonadherent gauze mesh infused with a proprietary white petrolatum oil blend, so exudate (wound fluid) can flow through the dressing
- Made so it does not stick to the wound bed, which helps make dressing changes more comfortable
- Conforms to all body contours for a snug fit
- Suited to a wide range of wound types, including donor sites, lacerations, burns, abrasions and skin graft sites
- Used as a primary layer on low to nonexudating wounds
