The DermaRite oil emulsion impregnated dressing is a nonadherent gauze mesh pad infused with a white petrolatum oil blend. It comes as a sterile 3 x 8 inch rectangle. It is used as a primary layer on low to nonexudating wounds.
- Nonadherent gauze mesh infused with a proprietary white petrolatum oil blend, so exudate (wound fluid) can flow through the dressing
- Made so the dressing does not stick to the wound bed, which helps keep dressing changes more comfortable
- Conforms to all body contours for a snug fit
- Used for wound types including donor sites, lacerations, burns, abrasions and skin graft sites
- Used as a primary layer on low to nonexudating wounds
