The Sion Brands DermaCol collagen dressing is a sterile, square wound dressing that measures 4 x 4 inches. It is made from bovine collagen blended with sodium alginate, carboxyl methylcellulose (CMC) and EDTA. You can trim it to fit the wound and layer it as needed.
- Forms a soft gel sheet on contact with wound exudate (fluid from the wound), for gentle application and removal
- Absorbs excess exudate while keeping an optimal moisture environment around the wound
- Designed to support the formation of granulation tissue and epithelialization
- Blend of collagen, sodium alginate, carboxyl methylcellulose and ethylenediamine-tetraacetic acid (EDTA), formulated for dual MMP inhibition
- Trim to fit and layer as needed, adapting to various wound shapes and depths
