The DermaCol collagen dressing from Sion Brands LLC is a sterile, square dressing that measures 2 x 2 inches. It is made from collagen, sodium alginate, carboxyl methylcellulose (CMC) and ethylenediamine-tetraacetic acid (EDTA). You can trim it to fit and layer it as needed.
- Forms a soft gel sheet on contact with wound exudate (fluid from the wound), for gentle application and removal
- Absorbs excess exudate while keeping a moist environment at the wound
- Made to support the formation of granulation tissue and epithelialization
- Blend of collagen, sodium alginate, carboxyl methylcellulose and EDTA, formulated to inhibit MMPs (matrix metalloproteinases) in stalled or chronic wounds
- Trim to fit and layer as needed, to adapt to various wound shapes and depths
- Made without natural rubber latex
