The DermaFoam foam dressing is a nonadhesive dressing with no border, shaped for the elbow or heel. It has a waterproof backing and comes sterile. Because it has no adhesive, you secure it in place separately.
- Highly absorbent and waterproof, so it manages exudate (wound fluid) and shields the wound from external elements
- Breathable, semi-permeable outer film that maintains a moist wound environment
- Soft, conforming shape that adapts to awkward-to-dress areas for comfort
- Supports a moist wound environment and autolytic debridement (the body's own process of clearing dead tissue) and temperature normalization
- Foam dressing, without border, nonadhesive
