Description / Passy-Muir PMV2020 - PMV™ Tracheostomy Swallowing and Speaking Valve - 1/Each
The Passy-Muir PMV2020 is a tracheostomy swallowing and speaking valve, a small one-way valve that attaches to a tracheostomy tube. It is clear, low profile and lightweight. It is intended for nonventilator dependent tracheostomized patients.
- Lightweight one-way valve in the closed position, described as a "no leak" valve
- Attaches to Premier Medical or Pilling Weck brand metal Jackson Improved tracheostomy tubes, sizes 4 - 6 or equivalent, when used with the PMA 2020-S Adapter
- The PMV 2020 (Clear) is intended for short-term and long-term use
- Intended for adult, pediatric and neonatal patients who have a tracheostomy and are not ventilator dependent
