The My Medic MYFAK Standard is a portable first aid kit in a black nylon bag. Its contents are sorted into labeled-style modules (pouches), so you can find what you need quickly. The outside carries hook-and-loop and MOLLE panels for attaching extra gear.
- Front of the kit is covered in hook-and-loop and MOLLE (modular lightweight load-carrying equipment), so you can attach extra items for use away from home
- Back of the kit is also covered in MOLLE
- Contents are organized into modules (pouches); when unzipped, the kit spreads out horizontally so items are easy to find
- Splints and supports: flat splint, finger splint, triangular bandage, 2 inch x 15 foot elastic bandage and 12 inch x 15 foot SensiWrap
- Tools and checks: penlight, tweezer, thermometer with five thermometer sheaths, whistle and large EMT shears
- Tape and gauze: 1 inch x 30 foot tape, 2-inch gauze roll, 3-inch gauze roll, two 2 x 2 inch gauze pads and two 4 x 4 inch gauze pads
- Nonadherent pads: two gauze modules with two 3 x 4 inch nonadherent pads each, plus three 2 x 2 inch nonadherent pads
- SuperSkin bandages: three packs with six 1 x 3 Inch bandages, three 2 x 4 Inch bandages and three fingertip bandages
- Two blister modules with three SuperSkin blister tape, and two wound closure modules with secure strips
- Burn care items: four burn gel packets and one 4 x 4 Inch Burnshield
- Cold packs and cleaning: two small cold packs, four antiseptic wipes, four hand sanitizers, one iodine prep pad, an ammonia towelette and two bottles of saline wash
- Ointments and creams: three triple antibiotic ointments, white petrolatum and two hydrocortisone cream
- Also includes an assortment of medications for common ailments
- Other items: two lip balms, two packets of sunscreen, two sting wipes, friction frosting, liquid skin, two hydration packets and two water purification tablets
- Emergency items: two CPR shields and three space blankets
