The Mepitel silicone dressing is a wound contact layer dressing, the layer that sits directly against the wound bed. It measures 8 x 12 inch and is sterile. It is made by Molnlycke.
- Silicone contact layer made not to adhere to moist wound beds, yet adheres gently to dry skin
- Designed for use during dressing changes with less trauma to the area
- Can remain in place for several days, so fewer dressing changes are required
- Manages exudate, which helps limit the risk of peri-wound maceration
