The McKesson Silicone Adhesive with Border Silicone Foam Dressing is a 5-layer foam dressing, a layered pad with a bordered edge that sticks to the skin around the wound. It is a tan, square, sterile dressing that measures 3 x 3 inch. It has a hydrocellular foam pad and a film backing.
- Made to attach to dry, intact skin and keep a moist wound environment
- Breathable outer film layer that resists bacteria and moisture from getting in
- Absorbent inner pad made of hydrocellular foam
- Seals the wound margins to keep exudate (wound fluid) from leaking onto the surrounding tissue
- Highly conformable, so it fits the contours of the body
- Perforated silicone gel adhesive, made for gentle removal
