The McKesson Hydrocellular Foam Dressing is a bordered foam dressing with a silicone gel adhesive, made in a sacral (heart) shape. At 9 x 9 inches, it is used on the lower back and suits the sacral or coccyx area. It is a sterile, 5-layer dressing with an absorbent foam pad.
- Used on the lower back in the 9 x 9 inch size; made for a wide range of acute and chronic wounds, including venous leg ulcers, pressure ulcers, diabetic ulcers and traumatic wounds
- Heart shape works well for the sacral or coccyx area
- Tapered edge lets the dressing lie smoothly
- Perforated silicone gel adhesive gives gentle but firm adhesion
- Affixes securely to dry, intact skin and seals the wound margins, which helps keep exudate from leaking onto surrounding tissue and lowers the risk of maceration
- Outer film layer is breathable, moisture-resistant and bacteria-resistant, with a waterproof film backing
