The McKesson Skin Stapler, Wide is a disposable wound stapler used to close external skin tissue in a wide variety of surgical procedures. It is sterile and comes pre-loaded with 35 wide, surgical-grade stainless steel staples. You operate it with a squeeze handle.
- Used in a wide variety of surgical procedures to close external skin tissue
- 35 pre-loaded, surgical-grade stainless steel staples in each stapler (contains nickel)
- Dispenses one staple each time you squeeze the handle
- Fixed head, ergonomic handle and soft trigger pull for accuracy and ease of use
- Audible click tells you the staple is fully formed
- Clear, marked plastic cartridge lets you see the staple count and track how many staples have been used during a procedure
- Can be fired from multiple angles; an ejector spring automatically disengages the staple so you can remove the instrument in any direction
- In the closed position, the wide staple measures 6.5 mm wide and 4.1 mm high
- Wide staples can be used on medium to thick skin or on longer or wider incisions
- Disposable, for single use only
