The McKesson Silicone Coated Foley Catheter is a 2-way catheter, one that drains urine through one channel and uses a second channel to fill a balloon at the tip. It is a straight 16 Fr. catheter with a standard tip and a 5 cc balloon. Each catheter is individually wrapped and sterile for single use.
- Orange tube, color-coded so the 16 Fr. size is easy to identify
- Length: 16 inches
- Large, oval eyes (the drainage openings) with a smooth bevel and symmetrical placement, made to help maximize drainage while minimizing tissue damage
- Firm catheter tip, designed to make insertion easier
- Two-way design: an open-ended lumen lets urine drain into a collection bag, and a second lumen with an outside valve connects to the balloon at the tip
- Individually wrapped for single sterile use
- Contains natural rubber latex
