The McKesson Hydrophilic Coated Foley Catheter is an indwelling catheter, a tube that drains urine into a collection bag. It is a 2-way, 16 Fr. catheter with a coude tip, a curved tip with a firm feel. Each catheter is individually wrapped and sterile.
- Orange tube, color-coded so you can identify the 16 Fr. size easily
- 16 inches in length
- Large, oval eyes with a smooth bevel and symmetrical placement, made to help maximize drainage while minimizing tissue damage
- Firm catheter tip, designed to improve ease of insertion
- Two-way design: one open-ended lumen lets urine drain into a collection bag
- The second lumen has an outside valve and connects to the balloon at the tip
- Individually wrapped for single sterile use
