The McKesson Cypress Medical super absorbent charcoal dressing is a sterile, square 4 X 4 Inch dressing with an integrated silicone border. It pairs a super absorbent polymer (SAP) core with an activated charcoal layer. It is sold by the box of 10 or the case of 240.
- SAP core quickly absorbs and locks away moderate to heavy exudate, helping maintain a moist wound environment
- Activated charcoal layer helps manage and bind wound odors
- Gentle silicone contact layer allows repositioning and supports atraumatic removal from fragile skin
- Integrated silicone border holds the dressing in place without additional fixation
- Designed to minimize strike-through and leakage by retaining fluid within the dressing
- May remain in place for up to 7 days, depending on exudate levels and clinical assessment
