Description / J & J Healthcare Systems VR844 - Coated Vicryl™ Rapide Suture with Needle - 12/Dozen, 12/Box
The Vicryl Rapide suture is an absorbable suture, one the body absorbs over time, supplied with an attached needle. It is indicated for superficial soft tissue approximation of the skin and mucosa where only short-term wound support (7 to 10 days) is needed. It is made from braided, coated polyglactin 910.

- Initial strength is comparable to that of Nylon and Gut
- Elicits lower tissue reaction than chromic gut suture
- The fastest-absorbing synthetic suture
