Description / J & J Healthcare Systems V402G - Coated Vicryl™ Suture with Needle - 12/Dozen, 12/Box
The Vicryl coated suture with needle is an absorbable suture, one that the body absorbs over time instead of needing removal. It is made of Polyglactin 910 and comes sterile with a single stainless steel taper point needle. It is indicated for general soft tissue approximation and/or ligation.
- Indicated for general soft tissue approximation and/or ligation, including use in ophthalmic procedures
- Not for use in cardiovascular or neurological tissues
- Made for easy knot tying, with knot security on the first throw
- Frequent uses: general tissue and muscle approximation, ligatures, reproductive tract and ophthalmic procedures, and orthopedic procedures as a second choice
- Loses 50% of its tensile strength after 3 weeks
- Complete mass absorption in 56 to 76 days
- Absorbable suture with needle, coated
- Polyglactin 910 suture material, monofilament type, size 9-0
