The Dermabond Prineo Skin Closure System from J & J Healthcare Systems pairs a liquid topical skin adhesive with a flexible mesh tape. Facility teams can use it in place of subcuticular sutures for skin closure. It is sold as a box of 2.
- Can be used in place of subcuticular sutures for skin closure
- Two-part system: a 2-octyl cyanoacrylate topical skin adhesive and a flexible, self-adhesive polyester mesh
- Tissue holding strength equivalent to 3-0 MONOCRYL (poliglecaprone 25) Sutures
- Each tape dispenser contains 60 cm of mesh tape
- Safety lockout guards against inadvertent firing of empty or misloaded cartridges
- Device status indicator shows the lockout visually
- Liquid adhesive with an applicator tip
- Active ingredient: 2-octyl monomer adhesive
- Volume: 0.7 mL
