The Endopath Xcel bladeless trocar is a trocar with a stability sleeve, made by J & J Healthcare Systems. It has a 5 mm diameter and a 100 mm length. The bladeless tip allows endoscopic optical entry.
- Designed to reduce smudging of the endoscope on reinsertion by wiping, wicking and absorbing fluid that builds up inside the trocar seal housing
- Helps reduce the cumulative time needed to clean the endoscope
- Made to reduce smudging more effectively across repeated endoscope reinsertions
- Provides controlled and predictable entry
- Integrated thread design on the bladeless cannula helps minimize trocar slip-outs
- Housing and seal are designed to reduce instrument hang-ups and provide low instrument insertion and extraction forces
- Bladeless tip allows for endoscopic optical entry
