The Prolene suture with needle is a nonabsorbable monofilament suture, meaning the thread is not broken down by the body. It is indicated for general soft tissue approximation and ligation. It comes with a 3/8 circle precision reverse cutting needle, ready for use.
- Nonabsorbable monofilament suture indicated for general soft tissue approximation and ligation
- Used in cardiovascular, ophthalmic and neurological procedures
- Non-adherent to tissue, and described as suited to skin closure
- Bright blue color makes the suture easier to see when removing it
