Description / J & J Healthcare Systems 0016AM - E-Z Clean® Electrode - 12/Box
The Megadyne E-Z Clean needle electrode is a sterile, disposable electrosurgical tip made of coated stainless steel. It has a modified needle tip and is made for use with Megadyne electrosurgical pencils. The non-stick coating is designed to make cleaning simple during a procedure.
- Proprietary PTFE coating on the non-stick electrode, made to reduce eschar buildup during surgical procedures
- The coating lets surgeons use lower power settings
- Lower power settings mean less thermal necrosis to surrounding tissue and a further reduction in eschar buildup
- When cleaning is needed, you only need to wipe the tip with a damp sponge
- Pure PTFE coating that resists flaking at high temperatures
- Modified needle tip, 3 mm diameter x 4 inch length
