The Protectiv Plus peripheral IV catheter is an 18 gauge catheter, 1-1/4 inches long, made of OCRILON polyurethane. It has a manual needle retraction feature, a safety design in which you pull the needle back into the device after use. It is sterile and comes with a straight hub.
