The Gentell Xeroform dressing is a petrolatum impregnated dressing, a gauze dressing coated with petrolatum. It comes as a sterile 5 x 9 inch rectangle. It is designed as a primary dressing for sutured wounds, minor lacerations, burns and skin grafts.
- Clings and conforms to the skin
- Fine, highly absorbent mesh, suitable for wounds with mild exudate
- 3 percent bismuth tribromophenate dressing with bacteriostatic protection
- Impregnated with petrolatum to form a barrier that retains moisture and medications
- Sterile dressing that does not stick to the skin
