Description / Covidien SP-5698-G - Surgipro™ II Suture with Needle - 12/Box
The Covidien Surgipro II suture with needle is a sterile, nonabsorbable suture, meaning the body does not break it down over time. It is made of polypropylene and is used for general soft tissue approximation (bringing tissue edges together) and ligation (tying off). - Inert, nonabsorbable, sterile suture made of an isotactic, crystalline stereoisomer of polypropylene, and it contains polyethylene
- Uncoated Surgipro II sutures come in clear or pigmented versions
- Indicated for general soft tissue approximation and/or ligation, including use in cardiovascular, ophthalmic and neurological surgery
- NuCoat needle coating technology keeps the needle sharp for the length of the procedure, for consistent penetration pass after pass
- Pigmented blue to enhance visibility
- Monofilament polypropylene suture, size 5-0
