Description / Covidien SP-5682G - Surgipro™ II Suture with Needle - 12/Box
The Covidien Surgipro II suture with needle is a nonabsorbable suture, one that is not broken down by the body. It pairs a blue polypropylene monofilament suture with a 3/8 circle precision reverse cutting needle. It is sterile and sold as a box of 12.
- Uncoated Surgipro II suture, clear or pigmented, is inert, non-absorbable and sterile
- Made from an isotactic, crystalline stereoisomer of polypropylene and contains polyethylene
- Indicated for general soft tissue approximation and/or ligation, including use in cardiovascular, ophthalmic and neurological surgery
- NuCoat needle coating technology maintains needle sharpness over the duration of the procedure, for consistent penetration, pass after pass
- Suture is pigmented blue to enhance visibility
- Suture size 4-0, monofilament, polypropylene
- Suture length: 18 inch
- Needle: P-12, precision reverse cutting, 3/8 circle, 19 mm, alloy
