Description / Covidien SM-5628 - Biosyn™ Suture with Needle - 12/Box
The Covidien Biosyn suture with needle is an absorbable suture, one the body absorbs over time, made from a synthetic polyester. It is a size 3-0 monofilament paired with a P-12 precision reverse cutting needle. Each suture is sterile and comes undyed.
- Made from Glycomer 631, a synthetic polyester composed of glycolide (60%), dioxanone (14%) and trimethylene carbonate (26%)
- Monofilament construction for smooth passage through tissue
- Supports the wound for up to 3 weeks
- Complete mass absorption in 90 to 110 days
- Absorbable suture with needle, size 3-0
- P-12 precision reverse cutting needle, 3/8 circle, 19 mm, alloy needle
