Description / Covidien SL-822 - Polysorbâ„¢ Suture with Needle - 36/Box

The Covidien Polysorb suture with needle is an absorbable suture, one the body gradually absorbs over time. It is a tightly braided polyester suture with a coated finish and a C-13 reverse cutting needle. Facility buyers can check the needle and suture specifications below.

  • Tight braided construction, made to cause less trauma to the tissue
  • Supports the wound for up to 3 weeks
  • Complete mass absorption in 56 to 70 days
  • Absorbable suture, Polysorb polyester, braided and coated
