The Kendall foam dressing is a soft, tan, square dressing made of hydrophilic foam, a foam that absorbs and holds fluid. It is nonadhesive and has no border, so it is used with a separate method of securing it in place. It comes sterile in a 4 x 4 inch size.
- Ultra-soft hydrophilic foam that protects and cushions wounds
- Small pores that lower the chance of tissue migration into the foam dressing
- Polyurethane top-sheet that resists strike-through while allowing moisture-vapor transmission
- Top-sheet helps reduce skin maceration, the softening of skin from too much moisture
