The Kendall nonadhesive foam dressing is a soft, sterile pad made of hydrophilic foam, a foam that takes in liquid. It has no adhesive border, so it needs a separate way to hold it in place. It is a fenestrated rectangle, meaning it has small openings through the foam, and it measures 3½ x 3 inches.
