The Hydrofera BLUE Classic antibacterial foam dressing from BSN Medical is a sterile, square foam dressing that measures 4 x 4 inches. It is nonadhesive and has no border and no film backing, so you secure it separately. It is made of open-celled polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) foam, which contains two pigments, methylene blue and gentian violet.
