Description / BD 405092 - Perisafe™ Epidural Needle - 10/Box, 50/Case
The BD Perisafe epidural needle is a Tuohy style needle with a straight hub and a plastic stylet. It is sterile, 17 gauge and 3-1/2 inches long. Depth markings on the needle are calibrated, so you can see how far it is placed.
- Needle heel is specially made to minimize catheter shearing
- Calibrated depth markings help you stay aware of needle placement depth
- One-piece plastic stylet is fitted to stop tissue coring and is lighter for better tactile feel during insertion
- Tuohy style, modified short point type
- 17 gauge, thin wall
