Description / BD 367861 - BD Vacutainer® Venous Blood Collection Tube, 4 mL, 13 x 75 mm - 100/Box, 1000/Case

The BD Vacutainer venous blood collection tube is a sterile plastic tube for collecting whole blood samples. It holds 4 mL and contains K2 EDTA, spray-dried. The lavender BD Hemogard closure is built to keep lab staff clear of blood contact.

Lavender closure helps protect lab personnel from contact with blood on the stopper or around the outer rim of the tube, and from blood splatter when the tube is opened
Rubber stopper sits recessed inside the plastic shield, so drops left by a blood collection needle stay isolated from potential contact
K2 EDTA additive, spray-dried
BD Hemogard closure, lavender color code
