The BD Vacutainer urine specimen collection kit gives you what you need to collect and transfer a urine sample in one package. It includes a preservative tube, a urine collection cup and castile towelettes. It is made for culture and sensitivity and for urinalysis testing.

- Lyophilized (freeze-dried) preservative in Becton Dickinson's microbiology collection products maintains urine for up to 48 hours at room temperature
- Preservative helps limit overgrowth without causing toxicity to existing pathogens
- Minimum fill line at 3 mL supports the proper ratio of additive to urine
- Contents: 8 mL 16 X 100 conical bottom urinalysis tube, 4 mL 13 X 75 C and S preservative tube, castile soap towelettes, and a sterile collection cup with integrated transfer device
- Additive: boric acid, sodium formate and sodium borate preservative additive, plain
- Test types: culture and sensitivity, and urinalysis
