The MiniONE low profile gastrostomy tube kit is a non-balloon button, a feeding tube that sits close to the skin and has no balloon to hold it in place. It has a 24 Fr. silicone tube that is 3.5 cm long. It is made by Applied Medical Technology Inc and comes sterile.
- No balloon that can fail, so replacements occur less often
- Button shaft is as narrow as the shaft of a balloon button
- For removal, the removal tool distends the bolster to a smaller profile
- Suited to people who do not tolerate balloon buttons
- Kit includes the device, bolus extension set, Y-port extension set, 10cc syringe, 35cc bolus syringe, placement T-handle and removal T-handle, snap arm assembly and gauze
