The Applied Medical Technology MiniONE low profile gastrostomy button is a non-balloon design, so there is no balloon to inflate or deflate. It comes as a kit with the button, extension sets, syringes and placement and removal tools. The tube is 20 Fr. and 2.4 cm long.
- No balloon in the design, so there is no balloon to fail and replacements occur less often
- The button shaft is as narrow as the shaft of a balloon button
- For removal, the removal tool distends the bolster to a smaller profile
- Made for people who do not tolerate balloon buttons
- Kit includes the device, bolus extension set, Y-port extension set, 10cc syringe, 35cc bolus syringe, placement T-handle and removal T-handle, snap arm assembly and gauze
