The Aesculap SterilContainer round filter is a single-use filter for sterilization containers. It measures 7.5 inches across and has an indicator dot that shows the type of sterilization the container has been through. It is made for use with the Steril Container System.
- Dual indicator dot changes from blue to brown in steam and to orange in EtO
- Keeps the inside of the SterilContainer sterile until the container is opened for use, which helps maintain the integrity of the sterilized instruments
- Filter material lets the sterilant pass through to reach the contents of the container
- Helps spread the sterilizing agent evenly, which supports an efficient sterilization process
- After sterilization, the filter continues to act as a barrier against environmental contaminants until the container is opened
